The Temples of Angkor Wat

Encompassing over 400 square kilometers in Cambodia, the Angkor Archaeological Park contains the remains of temples and buildings from the Khmer empire that date as far back as the 9th century. The park was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the 1990’s and is now the most visited spot in Cambodia.  The ruins are about 20 miles outside of Seim Reap.
